Action Points Council July meeting 2015 01) ZL2TW - DATV WN VHF Group Ch 25 DATV test progress. Stuart Watchman ZL2TW Phil Holliday ZL3PAH and ALO Don Wallace met with members of the VHF group DATV team in Wellington on April 6. Don will work with the group to negotiate with the RSM for another test licence. On completion of successful testing a permanent licence will be requested. A successful test will lead the way for a template for similar applications in other areas but will all have to be applied for on a case by case basis. The DATV team have agreed to produce a report on progress for Break-In. Ongoing
02) ZL4XYZ to put training DVD’s on You Tube, ensuring NZART receives publicity Complete Action Points Council February meeting 2016 01) ZL1PK to follow up with ZL1VH – consideration for Kordia Service Agreement April 2016 An agreement for a further three years has been signed and sent back to Kordia Complete
Action Points Council March meeting 2016 01) ZL3PAH New NZART Web Design Motion: That Chris Hellyer ZL3LF and Daniel Ayers ZL1DFA be approved as developers of the new NZART web site. Moved Phil King ZL1PK and seconded Phil Dodds ZL4XYZ, carried. A report detailing progress to date including the survey of members has been received from Chris ZL3LF. Ongoing
Action Points Council April meeting 2016 01) Advertising Membership Application on Website & Possible Sample Break-In in PDF form on Website – ZL1TPH suggestion by e-mail Council discussed this last month and sees merit in the idea. Max ZL2MAX has discussed this with Break-In Editor Mark ZL2UFI who agrees with the idea and will post an earlier electronic version of Break-In on the association website. Complete
02) ZL4XYL will work with the current Face book owner to sort out a Code of Conduct, Rules and a disclaimer. The code of conduct, rules and disclaimer have been posted on face book and Council. They have been approved by Council via e-mail earlier in April Complete
11/6 Confirmation of New Members April 2016 An impressive number thanks to the promotion. The total is now over 100, the balance will be approved at the meeting. Approved
11/7 Monthly Financials March 2016 a) Payments Approved b) Actuals v Budget Sighted 11/8 Monthly Reports a) AREC Financial report -emailed b) QSL Bureau Report March 2016 c) LGO report Approved d) ELG report The ELG recommendations are approved provided there are no objections upheld that are received within the usual 10 day period. A request will be sent to ELG to respond to the concerns from branch 63 re the Whakatane 730 two metre re-application
11/9 Reviewers Report & Review Comment has been received from the reviewer re the charitable status of the AREC-SAR-NZART trust and the AREC asset register. This has been communicated directly by treasurer Evan Sayer to the AREC national director. This will be followed up on at Christchurch.

11/14 Leave of Absence Phil Holliday ZL3PAH will be overseas from Mid June to August 1 and might be able to attend the July meeting, broadband permitting. Neill Ellis ZL1TAJ will be in the US in mid May and Norfolk Island at the WIA meeting late May but will not miss any Council meetings
11/15 General Business The Christchurch Friday meeting agenda will be circulated to council tomorrow along with an update of accommodation details. Meeting Closed at 2025
